![]() Intentions vs Goals New Year, Same Sacred SelfWe’ve never been keen on the expression “new year, new you” because, unlike a snake who sheds its skin in one piece, our evolution is constant and incremental. At the risk of disappointing anyone holding their breath for 2021’s arrival, when the clock strikes midnight you will still be your same, sacred self. With that in mind, we prefer to close out the year by focusing on the lessons learned, and setting intentions instead of goals. An intention is qualitative, embodied, and presently available whereas a goal is quantitative, action-oriented, and often a future projection. If you’re new to this ritual, here’s a prompt for reflection: how do you want to show up for your loved ones, for your colleagues, and for yourself? |
![]() Year in Review Words of WisdomWe’ve never paid much attention to likes on social—a rant we’ll reserve for another day. Saves are our metric of choice as we set out to slow you down mid-scroll. Here’s our annual round-up of most-saved posts from 2020 in case you missed a few. |
![]() The BEL Homage to the Passing of TimeLast year we received photos from a mindful gathering where a group placed their BEL at the center of their dinner table, inviting guests to share an intention each time a pin dropped, landing with a resonant ding. We are humbled and inspired by the ways in which you bring our tools to life. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We can’t wait to continue creating and learning alongside you as we collectively take another turn around the sun. |
