From sacred geometry to mythology, the number three has great significance. Three is the division of time (past, present, and future), the Holy Trinity, the triangle; and, in many cultures, ritual actions are performed three times.
How do I care for my BEL?
Your BEL is made of solid brass, which will tarnish over time – an effect we love – but if you prefer a high polish, you can use brass polish OR ketchup (odd but true) and buff with a microfiber cloth.
What happens at a 3rd Ritual workshop?
Our workshops are divided into three parts targeting body, mind and spirit. We form a circle around an altar and move through a series of seasonal rituals such as pranayama, painting, and guided meditation. Private ceremonies range from baby blessings to intention-setting. No experience is needed, and we work diligently to create a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment for all.
About this site
The lines in the background of our site are the culmination of visitors’ cursors, and the slate is wiped clean with each new moon in honor of the new beginning it represents. Over time, frequently traveled pathways will become more noticeable – inspired by the timeworn effect that’s usually reserved or physical spaces. Our color pallet was inspired by nature and changes with each season, of which, in Traditional Chinese Medicine, there are five.
